Teaching outdoors is the easy part. Getting found isn't.
You can read ground, keep a group safe through bad weather, and teach people something that actually sticks. What's harder is being visible in the first place. Word of mouth is slow, and being good outdoors doesn't automatically put you in front of the people looking for you. Walk Wilder is my public list of guides I'd send friends to. If you're on it, their enquiries come to your inbox.
Your work happens outdoors, off-camera. The people who'd want to learn from you are searching, and the loudest results are rarely the best guides. My part in this is small and specific: curate a short list, publish it plainly, and pass on the enquiries.
