For guides

Teaching outdoors is the easy part. Getting found isn't.

You can read ground, keep a group safe through bad weather, and teach people something that actually sticks. What you're probably not set up for is the admin: chasing enquiries, taking deposits, sending reminders. That's the stuff eating your evenings instead of your days outside. I've built and run businesses before this one, so I know what that admin actually costs a small operation. This is me taking it off your plate.

Your work happens outdoors, off-camera. Word of mouth carries you locally and no further. Meanwhile the admin — enquiries, invoices, reminders, kit lists, cancellations — eats the evenings you'd rather spend sharpening tools or asleep.

Two ways in

Listed

Free, already happening

  • I recommend you from what I can see publicly — your site, your record, your reviews elsewhere.
  • Enquiries come through Walk Wilder and land in your inbox. You reply, and arrange the trip directly with them. You keep every penny.
  • Traffic goes to your own site, tagged so you can see what I sent.

I may already be sending you enquiries.

Vetted — the stamp

You turn up and teach. Bookings, deposits, reminders and reviews run themselves.

  • Instant bookings, deposit taken at the moment they book
  • Confirmations, kit lists, reminders and review requests — sent automatically, on time, every time
  • Emergency contacts collected at booking and handed to you for the trip window
  • The Vetted by Walk Wilder badge on everything you do here
  • Priority placement, and featured in Walk Wilder content

The vetting standard

Vetting is not a form. Originals of your qualifications. Insurance confirmed with the insurer. References from people you've actually taught. ID. And an interview with me — every guide, no exceptions, rechecked annually.

Fees, honestly

Listing is free and stays free. Vetted pricing is a simple cut of the bookings I bring you — no subscription, no listing fee, nothing when I send you nothing. Details when we talk; I won't publish a number before it's been tested with real guides.
