The Forager's Foursome

Dan Moar's most popular day out, and the broadest sample of what Pembrokeshire offers a forager. Four to five hours moving across four distinct habitats in a single outing: woodland, hedgerow, meadow and salt marsh.

The rationale is that these four together give you a genuine map of the region's wild food, rather than a single-habitat deep-dive. What you find is what's in season on the day; the trip runs across the year with different plants in each window.

If you're new to foraging and unsure which of Dan's experiences to book, this is the one he pitches as the overview. Focus is on identification, sustainable practice, and enough repetition across the day to make the plants stick.
