The Wilderness Wayfinder is a six-day in-depth navigation course, one of Frontier's specialist strands rather than part of the general bushcraft progression. Six days is a lot for navigation, and the length reflects how thoroughly the course examines each aspect of land wayfinding: traditional methods, natural navigation cues, map and compass, and GPS integration.

The point is that navigation stops being the skill you quietly outsource to someone else on the trip. Aimed at anyone heading into wild country under their own steam, or teaching people who will. Groups are kept low, though a specific cap is not published on the site.
